I received a phone call to confirm my continuing interest and availability, clarify the salary, and set up an in-person interview time. The in-person interview was about 30 minutes long, with an HR person and the Project Manager, mostly covering workplace culture/expectations and questions about my GIS and educational background.

I interviewed with the local HR person over the phone first. A second interview was also over the phone with the manager and HR. I was extended an offer shortly after. Questions were pretty basic since they were looking for an entry level person. They asked about education, GIS experience, the usual.

It was typical. I went in for my first interview. Met my boss in the conference room. then the phone rang and his boss conducted the interview while my boss sat there and nodded his head. At the end I left and they called me back later to offer me the job.
