I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Charity Dynamics (Austin, TX) in Aug 2016
Interview
One phone screening, one in-person interview with the leadership, future team members, Hr and the hiring manager. Everyone I met was extremely friendly and didn't have any trick questions.

Question 1
Assuming two prospects have exactly the same background, how would you decide which one to hire?
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Charity Dynamics (Austin, TX) in Feb 2010
Interview
After sending in my resume to the manager I was contacted for a phone interview for later that week. I feel the phone interview went well--lasted about 45 minutes and covered general questions including why I wanted to work for their organization. The manager emailed me one week later to say I didn't get the job.
I kept in touch with the manager and was surprised she contacted me over two months later about a new opening (she suggested it was an immediate opening and they need to fill it quick). I immediately replied and went in for an in-person interview the next day. I interviewed with the manager who asked about prior work experience and skills. Mainly she discussed the job responsibilities and the future of the job and company. She was very nice and I felt the interview went well. I next interviewed with the potential co-worker. She was young but had been at this company for a few years which made her one of the old timers. It seemed to me that she hadn't really looked at my resume or knew the companies I used to work for. She asked the typical questions but I had the impression that I wasn't young or hip enough to work with her. She was very nice but this is the vibe I received.
I didn't hear back from the manager for 3 weeks and then was told I didn't get the job. I was disappointed because I had the impression I was a good fit and that the in-person interview was just a standard protocol. I have no bad feelings with this company but I wish they had been a little more professional in the whole interview and followup process.
