I applied online. I interviewed at Chase (Lakewood, CA) in Jan 2013
Interview
Was an easy process. Recruiter reached out to me and scheduled an interview directly with the branch manager - made it very personal because I LOATHE GROUP INTERVIEWS! The interview was easy and fun - the managers at Chase are wonderful and they are managers for a reason - because they are good at it! The questions were simple and routine but they want to see how unique you are from other people. They want unique individuals who work well with people and have great communication skills. Once hired - the process is tedious but well worth it. You have to get fingerprinted, order new clothing (business professional attire is a MUST) and take an IQ and personality test. THEY DRUG TEST BEFORE HIRING! You must be clean to initially work at Chase. Do not accept the offer if your not clean - they will give you some time to accept the offer so use that to your advantage. Once your in your in. It is a bank and you will be dealing with a lot of money so the background process can take a couple of weeks. Don't expect to start working right away once offered the job.
Well it was very casual. Asked for basic information on past experience and education. Asked if I was comfortable handing money and interacting with customers. Very easy and similar to what you would expect from a retail position
Interview was quick. Interviewed with HR and then the branch the branch manager. Interview questions were STAR method questions and asked about past customer service experience. They take you around and introduce you to others at the branch
