Only got the first round interview.
First explained a professional or academic project.
Then, did a lot of math and programming questions, not very difficult.
The math questions were mostly probability questions and the programming questions were some conceptual questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Citi (New York, NY) in Sept 2020
Interview
Applied, got first round about a month later, had a Superday a couple weeks after that, and heard back a month after that. Slow process but interviewers were polite and I learned a lot.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Citi in Sept 2020
Interview
Terrible. Phone screen interviewer had an accent that sounded nothing like English, had to ask him 3-4 times to repeat questions, still couldn't understand him. Nothing about my resume, leadership, or qualifications, nothing behavioral. Just asked me math questions, and when I explained my answer he rudely cut me off and went to the next question. Not happy with the process at all.
