I moved from Europe and was invited to interview in the middle of recruiting cycle as experienced hire. Three one-on-one interviews in 1 day, surprisingly no case interviews - just general experience and skills. A week later I received a positive feedback with background check pending. One more week later I got an offer.

Please describe one of the projects you have worked on
The three-stage process included a case study and involved meeting several team members. Overall, it was a positive experience although the recruiter took a while to inform me about the offer.
The interview process was long and slow. Took a lot of time to connect, but was worth the effort. The interviews were good and informative, but the turn around time was high, had to wait for good 2 months to hear back
