I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Edwards Lifesciences in May 2011
Interview
After submitting an online application for the position, I was contacted via email by the head of the research group that was hiring to schedule a phone interview. The interviewer was friendly and really wanted to make sure that I was educated about what the position entailed. The interviewer really wanted someone that would take the project and make it their own.

Interview
This was a first round on-campus interview, at my college's career center. It was much less technical than I was expecting for an engineering position. It was mostly a discussion of my leadership experiences and leadership styles. We also talked about some project management experience. It lasted about 45 minutes. I was sort of surprised I didn't get second round; I thought the interview went well overall.
