In person and via video. Basic industry and technical knowledge are needed. Global payment experience a plus. Scheduling was not always easy and it took a while to string a series together.

Interview
Typical IT/Computer interview process: First a brief phone interview with the HR person. Next a 30 minutes non-technical phone interview with the hiring manager. Then a 3 hour in-person technical interview with different team members.
Livegamer struck me as a well organized, efficient organization. The people seem like they are not stressed out, which is good. The hiring manager and HR person, and the rest of the people for that manner, were pleasant, nice folks. The hiring manager seems like a good person to work for, a calm, experience Silicon Valley veteran.
All said, I liked what I saw. The only think I noticed was it is a very quiet office. I personally like more noise and talking around me, but that's just a personal preference.
