Empowered SMS Software Project Manager interview questions

I was contacted by the HR Recruitment team on a number of occassions initially showing a lot of interest in my CV. Thou it did not match the exact description there were experiences parallel to the job profile. After a few calls interview date was decided. I had interview with the Hr head which went very well and was advised i've moved to the next round of interviews and to wait for the HR to call me back. I got no calls from the Hr and had to chase up constantly to be told after about 8 days that the role was offered to someone with relevant skills. I would have expected one courtesy email explaining the situation.
