I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Dec 2014
Interview
After submitting an online application, I was contacted for a phone interview with one of their current TS employees. The purpose seemed to be mostly to tell me about the job rather than to evaluate me as a candidate. Then there were the online tests--the proctoring system is annoying, but the tests were not too hard. After that, they flew me out to Madison for a day of interviews -- there was a case study, an HR interview, a few tours of their campus, some presentations, etc. When they say dress casually, they mean it. I wore jeans and still got an offer.
I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
Filled out an online form at a college campus job fair, was contacted via email for a phone call, then a skills assessment, and then invited for an onsite interview
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
The interview was fairly easy - asked about my education , why I wanted to work there, about myself, the usual. Was offered the technical interview a few hours after my phone interview. The technical interview was pretty difficult - a lot of math, pattern recognition, and faux code to analyze.

Interview
Applied directly at a career fair and was then asked to complete a technical exam online. The next step was a pretty informal phone screening, and then I was sent out for an in-person interview.
