      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Mar 2011

      Interview

I started the Epic Application Process by sending in my resume for the Project Manager/Implementation Consultant. I was emailed a link to a Rembrandt short test and then a week or so later I had a phone interview. I was really quite impressed with my phone interviewer. The man had his PHD in Economics and really loved Epic. About two weeks later I took a 3 part exam that was proctored at my university. The exam consisted of some math/english/computer programming (don't have to know computer science beforehand--the instructions walk you through it/ and a logic game similar to the LSAT. About 2 weeks later I was invited to Epic on site interview and also told that I was being considered for an additional role as a software tester/quality assurance analyst. 3 weeks later I flew to Madison (Epic paid for the flights and my hotel). I was pretty overwhelmed when I got to my interview. There were at least 20 other recruits for various positions being interviewed on the same day. I was also surprised by the superfluous decorations...especially the adult slide. However, everyone I interviewed with/presented to/chatted with was extremely nice. Even the secretaries at the front desk were incredibly friendly. I had 4 hours between the end of my interview and my flight home so I went for a run and showered at Epic afterwards (yes...they have showers there)! One secretary was nice enough to walk me to the locker room! The interviews themselves I didn't find very challenging compared to other companies. About a week and a half later I was offered the QA position.

      Interview

The test is actually quite straightforward and shouldn’t be too difficult. Also final stage interview is basically a victory lap, you are 90% of the way there at that point.

Logic puzzles and also a personality analysis.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Jul 2020

      Interview

All pretty clear and straightforward. Liked the flexibility in scheduling. No surprises. Had to complete a variety of assessments. The interview was not very memorable and felt somewhat impersonal and curt.
