I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Feb 2025
Interview
Technical Assessment with 4 parts: math (which ended up being more logic-based), programming (basic programming concepts regarding the language that Epic uses for their software), 2-minute assessment (answer as many questions as possible in 2 minutes), and 4 coding exercises which were difficult.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A man finishes painting his house and goes to the store to get one more thing. The clerk says one is $1, so the man says "I'll take 900", and hands the clerk $3. What did he buy?
30 minute phone call with a technical solutions engineer, questions were related to interest in the role and long term career goals rather than technical questions. He also asked about relocating and if that’s something I would be considering.

Interview
Started with info sessions. Then broke into a room with an interviewer who asked me to assess a scenario. After that, I had an HR interview. All of these in 1-2 hours on the same day.
Initial phone interview (basic questions about resume, why interested in company and role), skills assessment (multiple parts- personality test, math and logic and coding sections), longer final interview with case study and behavioral questions.
