I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Equifax (Saint Louis, MO) in Jul 2015
Interview
Process lasted about 2 months.
Initial contact was from a company claiming to be contracted as a dedicated placement service for Equifax. I was suspicious, assumed it was a consulting firm, and turned them down several times. Final contact was during my vacation on west coast. Saying they really wanted to interview me. I would only do it they would confirm agile was not a hard requirement. And that they really needed a senior person. Agreed to a phone interview.

Question 1
Phone interviewer was an Equifax resource. Asked a few questions related to my experience.
But seemed more interested in agile experience than any other skillset.
Decades of experience were ignored. "Interview" lasted under 2 minutes.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Equifax in Jan 2026
Interview
The first interview was with a solutions architect, and we went through my résumé, and I explained what I did. He asked me a few technical questions that related to things on my résumé.
The second interview was with the managing Director, which was similar to the first interview, but it also went over what the role would be and how it was set up.

On the first day of the interview process, there was an initial screening that lasted for about one hour, where I was asked questions about Java, React, and other relevant topics. Following that, the second round involved a coding assessment to evaluate my technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Attended walkin interview. Total 3 rounds are there. But even after selection they didn't released offer letter. Almost a month I was following with HR everytime they told that they are waiting for approval. This is the worst experience as a candidate. Please don't waste others time
