Had initial interview, deviated from the typical STAR process. Was told after my first interview that the team would be intouch to schedule the group interview, than never heard back.

Why did are you looking to leave your current role.
Time to expose another employer, I had high hopes for this one as it was a role that I have the experience for and guess what? After hearing from the hiring team through the recruiter of how excited they were to speak with me, they canceled the interview the day of literally, the morning of the interview. They cited they went with someone else yet they had days to preemptively communicate that news. These are things that can negatively impact the brands of companies when shady practices like these occur
