Mr. Bowman spoke very rapidly for the majority of the interview. I only had time to give a bit of explanation for some of my skills and answer their questions about my abilities. I have since realized that this was to prevent me from asking too many questions. They had the owner - Mr. Stoker - proctor the interview as well, either to make me sweat or feel special, but he sat on his phone the entire time.
The real issue was the contract. They purposefully hid the fact that the insurance they were requiring me to carry was a commercial insurance policy that I as a recent graduate could not afford. I have since learned that this is highly unusual and a strong indicator of shady doings. In this case they are hiding the fact that they purposefully go after newly graduated students to make them eat this cost, as the pay they allot for vehicle use does not cover such a policy. They want to treat us as contractors instead of employees so they can cut pay and hours more freely.
