I applied online. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Mill Valley, CA) in May 2017
Interview
First round was an HR recruiter phone screen, followed by interview with hiring manager, then interview with two directors and the hiring manager again over Skype in one marathon day.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you improve Glassdoor as a jobs platform?
The interview process was well-structured and professional. I had a phone screen followed by a technical round and a final discussion with the hiring manager. Questions were challenging but fair, focusing on problem-solving, technical knowledge, and situational judgment. Interviewers were friendly and supportive, creating a positive atmosphere. Overall, the process was insightful and reflective of the company culture. I appreciated the timely communication and feedback throughout. Would recommend this company to candidates seeking a thorough, respectful, and engaging interview experience.
Interview was fine but the job ad was at odds with their interview and what they're clearly looking for. The ad described areas you'll get to gain experience in, but the interview drilled you in the same area.

They kept me waiting over the agreed upon meeting time but were at least pleasant and apologetic about it. Would likely not intern with if they gave me a call back.
Thank you for sharing your interview feedback! I apologize for the delay in your interview and appreciate your understanding. Your feedback will help us improve our process to continuously offer exceptional candidate experience.
