      Data Scientist Interview

      Interview

The interview process was extremely long and unprofessional, with nearly 10 rounds and a delayed final decision. I was told I was a finalist, only to later learn that the hiring manager wasn’t part of the decision-making committee — which made the feedback even more confusing. Ultimately, I was rejected with a generic response about another candidate being a better fit. It felt like a frustrating waste of time.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I take this feedback seriously and will work with our team on improvements based on what you’ve shared. To clarify a few points: 1. The interview process was four rounds comprised of seven meetings, including the recruiter screen and post-interview debrief. 2. The hiring manager was involved in the decision during the final interview round, all candidates were informed that they were on vacation out of the country, delaying the decision timeline. While this may not change your impression, I hope it helps provide additional context. I appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best moving forward. - Jake Dorochenko, Talent Manager, Technology

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor in Feb 2025

      Interview

I interviewed with Glassdoor and went through 4 rounds: a phone screen, a hiring manager interview, a panel interview, and a final interview with the director. Overall, the experience was excellent. The entire process was very well-organized and efficient, which I really appreciated. Every interviewer was kind, professional, and genuinely interested in me as a candidate. "Good people" isn’t just a slogan—it’s part of their culture. I highly recommend Glassdoor to anyone looking for new opportunities.
