I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (Bengaluru) in Feb 2018
Interview
1. Hacker rank test
2. Coder pad test
3. 'N' number of F2F interviews followed by 3 F2F interviews.
It was my first Goldman sachs experience and I don't want any more of it. I was excited about the reviews etc. It was a total waste of time for me. Recruitment takes awful lot of time..few months. There are literally 'N' number of interviews. And, people are so egocentric... some of the panel would barely speak and if they speak, you will not understand a word. I was hoping that GS would have credible tech peers....but, I had huge disappointment and I had other offers...so I quit the process.
Questions are random, you will find on internet... geeksforgeeks etc.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (Bengaluru)
Interview
I interviewed for a VP Software Engineering role at Goldman Sachs few months back and the experience was disappointing. The recruiter’s communication during scheduling and follow-ups felt rude and unprofessional, which was surprising for a firm of this reputation.
The technical rounds focused heavily on data-structures and graph coding problems despite the senior leadership nature of the role. While I explained my approach, I couldn’t fully complete the implementation within the time limit.
Most concerning was the lack of any feedback or follow-up after the interviews. I didn't even know what happened. Overall, this was one of the least professional interview experiences I have encountered.

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (New York, NY) in Sept 2023
Interview
The process takes a very long time, but the interviews were friendly and positive. Had to talk to about 4 people and their schedules and vacations made it more drawn out.
