3 month process and no decisions. First round was 3 different people on different days/times. 2 of the three did not know who the hiring manager would be. The most senior person in this round informed me who it would be, and that individual wasn't even paying attention during my interview. A week later I was asked to provide availability over 2 weeks to meet with 7 additional people. In this round, 2 of the interviewers did not know why I was meeting with them and 2 others did not know what the role I was interviewing for entailed. Completed the last interview in this round, no word from HR, no phone screening, etc.. I followed up with them to get the status and was told final rounds were finishing up. A month goes by, no decisions have been made. Followed up again, no updates. Very chaotic and disorganized. The NYC events industry is very small and everyone knows each other. The team recruiting for this role doesn't understand events and has no event background. Advice to my fellow Glassdoor people, beware. They'll want you in 5 days a week, work you 12 hours a day, but then can't make a decision because they don't understand what real event marketing talent is and you'll learn fast, you're not a priority just like the candidates in this process are not a priority.
