The interview began with a brief introduction where I shared my academic background and project experience. The interviewer then asked about my areas of expertise. Since I had mentioned Java, we discussed my experience with Java, including OOP concepts and real-world applications I’d built. After the discussion, I was given two coding problems: The first was a stack-based brackets validation question (e.g., checking for balanced parentheses). The second was the classic Two Sum problem where I had to return indices of two numbers in an array that add up to a target. I explained my thought process and optimized solutions in both cases. The interview was technical but conversational, and they focused on how I approach problems logically.
