Approximately 3-5 days after applying online, I was contacted by a recruiter. The recruiter set up a 30-minute phone screen, which occurred about a week later. The phone screen was not as professional as I would have expected from Google. The recruiter was clearly reading from a script, the way they do when you call customer service at the cable company. The room she was in was noisy and I had to ask her to repeat her questions several times. The phone screen was followed by a skills test, which was submitted online.
