I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Portsmouth, NH) in Aug 2016
Interview
A few more interviews than you would expect, with a fairly straightforward technical project. You also get a tour of the office and introduced to the very cool culture they have developed. My recruiter, Holly P, made the whole process really comfortable. She was always super helpful, answering any questions I had and making sure I knew what to prepare for. She was also really good about getting back to me quickly.
Thanks for your review and your shout-out to Holly - she is an amazing coach and advocate for the candidate during the process so I'm glad you had her along the way! -Becky
Other Technical Support Engineer interview reviews for HubSpot
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Boston, MA) in Mar 2014
Interview
*this was years ago so I don't remember all of the questions. Instead I will be describing each of the 4 interviews
Overall: the interview process was smooth and efficient. The recruiter at the time was professional, helpful, and cordial in her responses to my questions and helped me along during the process to make sure that I excelled.
The first interview was a phone screening and there was nothing out of the ordinary as she asked me typical questions to see if I had the proper skills and right culture fit.
The second interview was an in-person interview at their main office. I spoke with two of the support managers, the now director of global services, and one of their now principal engineers. Questions ranged from technical questions to assess my skills, culture-related questions to see how I would fit in with everyone else, and others along the same lines.
The third interview was a presentation. I was asked to sign up for a demo in order to use the available tools at the time and show my experience basically recreating my resume using their platform.
The fourth and final interview was meant to review the presentation and was compounded with additional questions from the second.

Question 1
Please see the above info regarding the interview process as this was years ago and I do not recall exactly what I was asked.
It means a lot that you took the time to write a review even though your interview was a few years ago. While some aspects of our process may have changed since then, you captured the overall goal - understanding your experience, skills, and your core values through our interviews. Glad you joined us and thanks again! -Becky
