I recently went through the interview process for Info-Tech Research Group and unfortunately had a negative experience. The initial screening call with the recruiter was positive, and they were accommodating when I requested to schedule the first round interview the following week due to scheduling conflicts.
However, communication following the screening call was inconsistent and untimely. Despite multiple follow-ups, I received limited information regarding the next steps in the hiring process. Ultimately, I was informed that there was insufficient office space available on the interview date requested from me and the position was closed.
While I understand that unexpected challenges can arise, I believe a more transparent and timely communication process would have been beneficial. I hope this feedback can be considered for improving the candidate experience.
