I applied online. I interviewed at Innovia Technology in Jul 2021
Interview
The process was thorough and end to end took 3 months. There were 3 stages
- Initial technical interview
- Technical/ case study interview (with presentation)
- Behavioural/ competency interview
All the stages were virtual via Webex. The questions were specific and related to the role. I left each interview having a better understanding of what was expected from the role.

Question 1
-Initial technical interview: I applied for the Innovation Consultant role (business strategy). I was presented with several scenarios on how I will tackle different business problems etc. The questions are more technical I guess related to your discipline i.e. business strategy, science, etc
- Technical/ case study interview (with presentation): this was the most intense. Started with a presentation on a topic (innovation option/s within the snack industry) sent before the interview. Then several case studies to walkthrough (3-4 industries) with the interviewers. Similar to the case study interview format. There was a numerical element too (basic math).
- Behavioural/ competency interview: this is more conversation-like the interviewers ask questions about your experience, competencies e.t.c. Similar to the first interview typical scenarios are presented then questions are provided. The focus is soft skills: team work, problem-solving etc
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Innovia Technology in Feb 2022
Interview
Multi stage interview including technical interviews with a number of different consultants. There was also a timed exercise that led to a presentation on a topic shared 90 minutes before.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Innovia Technology
Interview
Very challenging. 3 rounds of interviews. One was a basic 30 minute. One was a longer hour with a case study and the last was another hour. The first two were technical in nature whilst the 3rd focused on softer skills required for the role.
