I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Insight Global (Denver, CO) in Oct 2010
Interview
I went in for the initial "Meet the Employer" meeting. It seemed that the interviewee and I connected, but when she asked what I liked to do to 'de-stress' I simply said, watch a movie, read a book, just have some 'me' time. Boy, was that the wrong answer, you could tell she shifted in her chair and the whole pace of the interview changed. They're looking for someone who wants to be out with people, regardless of the situation. I also had a very outgoing friend that applied, and got a second interview, which consisted of a social lunch (Makes sense-- the job is ultimately making customers bite the bait while entertaining them), and he was turned down due to being too shy, which is very untrue.
Small talk is the most importantly part of the interview process. They hire soley for personality and drive so if you show you can be natural with conversation that sets you apart.
easy just have to know how to small talk. they look for depth in your answers and how you can push yourself to be better. they just want to see that you can drive the conversation and be curious about the positon. no experience necesarry.. easy but tbh toxic work env iroment
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Insight Global (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process was like any other interview process with a recruiter. I ended up backing out, but it seems like they want people who are excited about the company and the role.
