      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Interac (Houston, TX) in Apr 2011

      Interview

This was awhile back, but I applied online then I had a brief phone screen *interviewer was kind of odd...but I passed and was selected for an in person interview. To be honest, the in person interview wasn't hard, and it was a group of us that was interviewed. I know I failed because I bombed during my self introduction, tried to introduce myself in Japanese but forgot one word so I sorta froze. Oh well, I dodged a bullet and got a teaching gig in Japan with another company

      Question 1

How would you deal with culture shock?
      1 Answer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Interac (Ōsaka, Osaka) in Jul 2018

      Interview

Following a video submission, applicants have to do a short in-person interview. Mostly, the interviewers will already have a general idea of your skills from your submitted lesson, and are more focused on matters of preference, logistics, and determining if there will be problems with the schedule and placement they will offer you. There is no harm in answering honestly. For the most part, they do not resent being told what they don’t want to hear.

      Interview

Overall the interview seemed to go well. The conversation had a good flow, and I was prepared for all the questions and even the tiny ones about the company. But in the end, I didn't end up getting the job. I think it might have been because I was too young?
