My interview experience left me with mixed feelings.
The first interview was with the hiring manager. She had her camera off - which is completely fine - but it did make the interaction feel a bit distant.
The second interview with the SE Manager was great; she was warm and engaging.
The third interview with the Sales Manager felt somewhat unstructured. It centred mostly around questions like “How do you work in a team?”, and seemed more like a culture fit or vibe check. I felt I did well in that conversation.
However, after that, I received no communication. I had to follow up twice to eventually be told I was not selected. I politely asked for feedback but didn’t receive any.
It’s quite disheartening - especially after investing time to prepare and showing genuine interest in the role - to be met with silence or vague responses. I believe candidates deserve some clarity, especially when they’re told they’re a strong fit. It’s not just about the outcome, but the respect shown during the process.
