Interview
I applied through my university.
I received an interview. The night before the interview there was a laid back social engagement at a local restaurant. The next morning was the interview. They asked me about my resume and asked me if I had any questions for them. They were really big on me asking them questions, instead of the other way around. My interviewer was for the most part friendly. I was not called back for a second interview.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at KPMG (Singapore)
Interview
After submitting my CV, there was a virtual interview and they asked a market sizing question + why I wanted to join the specific department. They also asked about stuff in my CV and it was overall pretty manageable, they don't expect you to know much as an intern.
It was an hour long with 2 hiring manager and HR. Whole process was like one round to offer. This spanned around 2 weeks in total from HR reach out to offer letter.
The interview process at KPMG was straightforward but rigorous. I completed an online assessment, followed by a video interview, and then a panel interview with case questions. The team was professional, and the timeline was reasonable, taking about a month from application to offer.
