Future of clinical trials, hinting towards technology and data
Had an online screening call with talent acquisition based in the Philippines for a role in AU, Had my camera on as HR/recruiters tend to generally prefer this but was basically asked to turn it off, funnily enough!
After the call I searched online and was dismayed to find out MSD and other sponsors apparently pay lower than CROs, despite the prestige of being a top global sponsor and seeing positive employee reviews. It may be team or location-specific.
Was disappointed considering the starting pay for a government CTC role is higher, and usually has salary packaging options. Would not have applied if the pay range was advertised in the job listing, and sponsors in general were more transparent about their pay bands.
