Interviewed for Branch internship at Morgan Stanley. Suburban wealth management branches are definitely not where you want to intern at. Rejection took 4 months and they do not value clarity or whatsoever. Do not be tricked by the name of the company.
Applied through the website to do the hirevue and got a first round, but did not get a further invitation for a superday. Overall the interviews were pretty standard and non technical

Question 1
Why Morgan Stanley/Wealth Mgmt, basic STAR questions
First round interview over Zoom, but I didn’t move on to the next round. The Interview was with another intern and the youngest analyst. All behavioral and fit based, nothing technical.
Meet with more junior associate and more senior one, talk about resume and previous experience and what to expect from role, guaging understanding of investments and market knowledge. Guaging knowledge of what the team does also
