I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Oracle in Aug 2024
Interview
Interview process included HR screening, Hiring manager screen (45 mins), Senior Leader screen (45 mins) and Final Technical Round with 4 interviews (45 mins each). Hiring manager was mainly behavioral as they try to understand your skillset and background in relation to the job profile. My senior leader round did not happen as the interviewer no showed because the recruiter didn't check their availability and know that they were OOO. I was moved on to the final round instead and was told by the hiring manager and recruiter that someone in this role needs to know PL/SQL but not be a "programmer" and will not be getting coding interviews. Final round interviews had 3 PLSQL coding interviews with difficult questions a DBA/programmer would know. Suffice to say the interviews didn't go well. The other interview only delved into my resume with no questions on my program sense or technical TPM questions. Big disconnect between HR and the team here.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle (Detroit, MI) in Feb 2021
Interview
Really smooth, hiring manager reached out to me and scheduled a phone interview and then onsite with 5 different folks. Mostly behavioral questions and role related scenarios. Received offer after couple of days, which I accepted

Question 1
Tell me a time you had to deal with difficult person
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2020
Interview
Had an interview with the hiring manager based on an internal referral for a new team position. Manager was scattered, kept repeating themself and didn't know what they actually wanted in the position, like it was an afterthought. They noted that the project MVP wouldn't be until end of year, so focus was on hiring developers, not a PM. After interviewing with that manager, I didn't hear from recruiter for two weeks, then didn't hear back from him for another two weeks, then wanting to schedule a formal loop a month away. Felt like it wasn't a serious proposal and a waste of time.
