Interview has five stages . I had three levels with architects including technical interviews and presentation, one stage you will be given link and asked to present your ideas in given time, last level with HR if you applied directly or it will be your job recruiter.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at PA Consulting (London, England) in Jun 2026
Interview
Awful from start to finish. Left had does not know what the right hand is doing. I was taken to the 2nd stage which was supposed to be a technical dive-down, instead it was some competency based interview and interviewer does not seem to know what are the roles and responsibilities of a DevOps Engineer. I was asked questions like - how do you influence people? how do you drive innovation to develop a business? I don't influence people. I do not drive any innovation. This is not what a DevOps engineer does. I have left the interview call half-way through with a strong belief that PA Consulting do not know what they are doing when it comes to recruitment.

Question 1
How do you drive innovation and new ways of working for a business to develop further.
I applied online. I interviewed at PA Consulting (London, England)
Interview
The interview felt far more like a natural conversation than a traditional question and answer format. Whilst questions were of course asked and responses noted, they served more as conversation starters, allowing a broader discussion around the company, the role and your previous experience. This approach created space to give a far more rounded picture of who you are and what you can genuinely offer. The interviewer was equally forthcoming, offering some valuable insight into the position and what it entails. Overall, a rather pleasant experience as far as interviews go.
