You have to take a quiz that will measure your knowledge of English grammar and academic style guides. If you get a high enough score, you'll have an interview. Mine was with the CEO.

After applying for the position and completing the company's editing assessment, I took part in a phone interview. The interviewer was very friendly and described the company's services in great detail. Though I had several questions about the job, he had no problem answering every one of them. It was clear that the company genuinely cares about employee satisfaction, so I was excited to accept the position.
