      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Philips (Bengaluru) in Jan 2019

      Interview

I got call from HR person on Jan 14 for interview next day. I accepted the date. Somehow I felt they were not prepared to conduct interview. Next day I reached after lunch time, was met by hr and she introduced me to two people a lady n a guy to interview me. They were super casual. The interview room did not have even basic stationery like paper n pens. The questions asked were basic testing questions like types of testing, some of the current project questions etc. Then after 15-20 mins I met their manager and he interviewed me for around half an hr on the process we follow, agile methodologies etc. Later he asked me to wait for the hr and left. After 20 min the hr comes and tells me I have one more hr round. Then she tries to find the hr manager , but he was busy in some other meeting. She informs that, she will send a email on when this meeting will happen. A week passes by and no news from them yet. Finally I email n ask her , she informs me that I have been rejected. That was it. No proper reason was provided, I had done pretty good in my interview rounds. So it was kind of mixed interview.

      Interview

Such a pathetic interview experience. Their interview panels are the most confused once. After 2 rounds of Technical , 1 Managerial cum technical and next day Skype round which consisted of more managerial questions followed by submission of employment form. Later they sent a regret email. HRs are highly unprofessional. They behave like typical government officials. They don't have any update and they are totally dependent on each other. Please try to avoid such companies.
