      Feedback loops took weeks and missed the agreed upon date for feedback every single time. All interview partners were very knowledgable and a delight to talk to though. Went through a screening call, a manager interview, a case study and three additional interview calls with peers.

      I’ve interviewed a few times at Pinterest. They are rather welcoming and easy to speak to. Although I have not received an offer, my experience with them is positive. I do think the company finds more value in hiring people with big tech experience (Meta, Facebook, TikTok etc) and rarely look outside the box.

      First round virtual interview with initial recruiter, 30 minutes. Second round virtual interview with senior business recruiter. Third round 90-minute virtual interview with three different people, all in the same Lead Client Partner role. Final round is a 30-minute virtual pitch.

      Question 1

      Mock pitch instructions: You will complete our mock pitch exercise to help demonstrate your sales approach with partners who are focused on driving lower funnel performance. The interviewers will evaluate your pitch based on the following: executive communication, objection handling, understanding of the brand’s core business objectives, industry landscape knowledge, and comprehension of Pinterest’s value proposition. Please approach this as a role play scenario. Scenario: You are presenting a senior level mock pitch/presentation to a partner team with the goal of demonstrating why a brand of your choosing should be investing performance media dollars with Pinterest. Timing: The pitch should be between 10-15 minutes to leave room for questions (throughout or at the end). Materials: This is up to you! You can create whatever materials you feel are most impactful to the pitch, just as you would in a live partnership meeting. Important Themes: While going through Pinterest’s unique value proposition to the client, be sure to touch on important platform elements like creative, measurement, targeting offerings, and Pinterest’s role in the performance media landscape. Our business site is a perfect starting point as it includes an in-depth background on how Pinterest can help you. We don't expect you to be an expert, however there is enough info out there to make a recommendation on why and how to partner with us.
