I was given a case study interview - not been told ahead of time what kind of interview It was so prepare for everything. The person gave me a random case study and then basically left it up to you.
What I didn't like was that I wasn't told it was a case study interview otherwise I could have prepared more, or that the question didn't seem to have much to do with the role itself. I heard from someone else afterwords that they asked him the same question for another role so it looks like they are just going through a standardized process irrespective of the role to get through as many applicants as they can. Plus the amount of stages in the interview process is unheard of.

Question 1
Can't remember the case study question verbatim but it was about Revolut potentially introducing a new product to their existing customers that would make international wire transactions more effective, and then you are asked what things would you need to take into account.
first round - HR screen call. basic questions such as why this role, tell me about yourself etc
second round - skills interview. i was asked specifically about how i would act in certain scenarios and also asked questions on products
third round - problem solving, i was aksed about how to imrpove customer rating following low customer reviews at an airport.
fourth round - bar raiser, i was asked a series of competency questions and also asked to walk through my career history
fifth round - skills interview with hiring manager - was asked competency questions and asked how i would act in hypothetical scenarios
sixth round - team fit - was fairly relaxed, not a skills based interview
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in May 2023
Interview
First interview with HR, went smoothly, second interview with hiring manager once again friendly interview. Third fase was a case study who took me 4 days to complete, be prepared because study cases aren’t easy. Last interview that I have was a problem solving interview with someone from completely different area, that as looked at me twice (45 min interview), not nice (this interview didin’t went as well as I expected). Even thougth I’ve made some questions to better understand the problem he didn’t say a word. You’re just making assumptions wich is not good in an problem solving interview. After this interview I had do chase the recruiter so I could get any feedback and I really don’t understand this aproach, after 1 month of recruitment process I was hopping I would have another type of answer with feedback. Still don’t know what went that bad that I was excluded and why. The process is too long and with too many interviews. Even thought the recruiter and the head of the department were really nice. Once you’re out they don’t care at all.
