I was initially contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn for the role of Creative Marketing Manager covering Hungary and Romania. I proceeded through two interviews, one with a recruiter and another with the Head of Growth. Following these, I sought feedback regarding my advancement to the next stage. A week later, I received an email from the initial recruiter informing me of my non-selection. Surprisingly, the subject line referenced the role of "Marketing Manager - Slovakia & Czech Republic," which was neither the position nor the regions for which I had interviewed. I responded to clarify the error, but my message appeared to be overlooked. The following day, I received a repeat of the previous email, this time with the region incorrectly listed as the Baltics. Given the repeated inaccuracies and poor communication, I decided to disengage from the process. This was just my experience, however, I do think it was an eye-opener. I strongly believe that communication with potential candidates should be handled with the utmost care and precision.
