I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Robert Half (Middleton, WI)
Interview
First had a phone interview with one of the staff. I was then asked to come in for a one-on-one meeting. Basic, not technical, interview questions were asked. Had one interview with someone on the help desk side, then with someone on the programming and analysis side. After the interview I was set up with an account on Skillsoft. I was later emailed to tests to take online.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Robert Half (Minneapolis, MN) in Jun 2015
Interview
The interview process was much like many other interviews I've been to. They expect you to be professional, be well dressed, show up on time, and know what you're talking about. Those things are no problem for me. I didn't get much of the simple helps that would really benefit me as a job seeker, however. Simple things like resume rewrite ideas go a long, long way. I did get some good verbal feedback on how to raise my value as a job seeker: volunteer, know what to expect from your level of experience, etc. The follow up was not impressive. You have to bother and hound your representative repeatedly. I had to call on one potential job several times, then didn't even get an interview. It was this way with 3 reps I dealt with, and it can be a little frustrating. I'm an IT Network professional, not a salesperson.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Robert Half (Columbus, OH) in Feb 2014
Interview
They called me, phone interview, reference check, background check, in person interview, offer. All within less than 5 days. Wanted to me quit my job ASAP, which I did (regret now) as this was more than double my pay. It's a staffing agency, so you need to use keywords and not be a dolt.
