I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at S&P Global (New York, NY) in Mar 2013
Interview
I submitted my résumé through campus career fair, then received an email about a week later for an on-campus technical interview. The technical interview has a 30 minutes test on "Redesign the current [company financial filings] website" with some guidelines and requirements. And then it's another 30 minutes with the interviewer about the test, how you arrived to your answers, and about your résumé and experiences.
A week later, during the spring break, I received an email from HR inviting me to attend their Super Day - four 30 minutes 1:1 interviews with BAs, they will ask questions they have encountered during their real projects. You don't need to have the perfect, correct answer, but you are expected to ask a lot of questions.
Overall a pleasant experience with Capital IQ, and I'm still waiting for my final results, hope I can get the internship :)

Question 1
Redesign the current [company financial filings] website, with a QA test plan.
I received a call back after applying online. The first round went smooth. The HR reached out to me for salary expectations before processing my application further. Although this role was advertised to have competitive salary it turned out to be the biggest cheapskate.
Post that conversation with HR, I never heard back on the feedback of the first round. The HR basically ghosted me.

The process is notably straightforward and lacks complexity, making it accessible for those who are well-prepared and have a solid understanding of their skill set. It is crucial to have a thorough preparation and a deep familiarity with one's own capabilities. Specifically, if the context involves technical requirements, it is imperative to have an in-depth knowledge of one's technical expertise. This preparation will not only smooth the process but also enhance one's ability to navigate through it with confidence and ease.
