First was a 15 minute phone screening with HR. Then came an hour interview with the direct managers you will be working with. They show you around the lab, then they take you to a room and start interviewing you. Questions were very generic. Most of them were about you. Nothing technical.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself (very generic interview questions about yourself, mostly about your resume).
Interview could be smoother, the interviewer wasn't well prepared and noticeably did not read through the resume beforehand. The HR asked to bring along physical copies but the interviewer did not look through it and instead asked to email the soft copies to him after the interview. The salary range given was well below average for the job scope and shifts.

Question 1
Are you aware of the jobscope? Are you okay with the shifts and doing OT/be on standby out of shift hours? Why did you choose this course of studies? Why does the job interest you? Why not apply for hospital jobs?
I applied online. I interviewed at SGS (Orlando, FL) in Jun 2023
Interview
The job listing was for Lab analyst I, but they were hiring for mail room and kit assembly. I found this out at the beginning of my second interview. There was no mention of this during the phone interview (during which we discussed lab analyst duties in detail!) or anywhere on the job postings; they even said they were not hiring lab analysts at the moment. I am just confused.

Question 1
none, they just told me they need people in these departments.
Quick and straightforward. The interviewer was pleasant, but they cut to the chase. It would help to be friendly still! If you’re a fresh graduate like me, enthusiasm is appreciated
