Some of the worst recruiters I've ever came across who treat people without any kind of respect whatsoever. After my second interview, the recruiter just ghosted me and stopped replying to my emails. Some other examples: - I've let the recruiter know that I was interested in another position more, still they scheduled me for what they thought I fit better. Do they even listen to what candidates are telling them? - Not asking for my availability and instead scheduling the time and date that's convenient to them. I've yet to come across another such company that lacks basic respect for candidates' time. - Got an invitation for the next interview at a random time on a Sunday. Catching up on work over the weekends? - Finally, and worst of all, disappearing without a trace after one of my interview. Good companies actually bother to schedule a call with every candidate to give them feedback. Needless to say, Shopee is way below that standard, as they don't even bother to send a simple email. Their style is to discard candidates like old rubbish. From talking with the engineers, they did seem competent. However, both of them mentioned same thing that they need to work overtime on a regular basis. The points above are enough to see that this is a typical sweat shop that treats people like garbage and don't even bother to hide it.
