Recruiter found me on LinkedIn. I have a tech role in another company in Singapore with 1 year of working experience and tbh I think my present role pays better than Shopee It was a terribly odd interview. Recruiter does not seem genuine in hiring. Rather, it seemed that the recruiter wanted to suss out my resume/ job scope. I’m personally not keen in the role of a product manager. Neither was I keen in the interview/ to job hop. Just went to try it out as the recruiter seemed pushy to schedule a Skype interview. Recruiter has a lack of knowledge in tech. Cannot answer well when I grilled on the job scope. Asked and grilled me on my university experience after I gave a brief overview of my job scope. I didn’t want to go into details with my job as the recruiter appeared to be digging on my information. Grilled on my various University experience like committee experience rather than internships-which I felt were not relevant to the role. Luckily I did not give my full resume and transcript for the interview. Felt scammed.

Had a great overall interview experience. The HR was incredibly warm and approachable — communication was smooth and she made me feel at ease right from the start. The second-round interviewer was equally friendly and professional, creating a comfortable atmosphere throughout the conversation. The whole process felt well-organized and respectful of the candidate's time.
