TriNet Sales Executive - Main Street interview questions

Typical sales interview process? Nope. Do you like to be stringed along? Do you like having to do an obscene amount of interviews? In total, I had 7 Interviews with 1 more lined up, for a total of 8! Here was my progression: Recruiter 30 min call, Recruiter 1 hr call, Sales Director 45 min call, Sales Executive 1 hr meeting, Sales Manager (different territory) 1 hr meeting, Territory Sales Manager 1hr, Sales VP and Director 1 hr. The last interview would have been with another Sales Manager on the other side of the country. So after 7 interviews, it was decided that my: "previous sales experience selling SaaS technology was not applicable." It took them 7 interviews to decide that.
