I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2014
Interview
Visa was at a career fair I attended, and they had a signup sheet for an on-campus interview the next day. I signed up, showed up to the interview, and talked to the engineer. The interview was a mix of very basic technical questions, very stereotypical behavioral questions, and a software design question. I didn't hear back from them after the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Given hardware that can read the state of a spinning disk, which can take states red, green, or blue, design an API for users to be able to interface with the hardware.
After applying, I got a email saying that I need to do a coding challenge which was easy. Then I was interviewed by an engineer and a manager. They asked me data structures and searching algorithm questions.

Question 1
Explain 3 different searching algorithms, Big O of them. What is concurrent programming and how is it done. And many questions about knowledge about p2p networks.
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Visa Inc.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Visa Inc. in Dec 2019
Interview
