I was contacted by Visa recruitment person and was scheduled for an initial phone call interview. The usual questions by HR on initial call discussing about the company, the role, what and why they are looking for this role and the benefits. This is what I do not understand why some recruiters would discuss to you about their employee benefits and the salary, the salary I would understand because it keeps the applicants expectations at bay but discussing the other benefits I would recommend do it when the applicant has reached a stage where they already passed the stages in the interview and is ready for a JO. It saves you time from talking and besides Visa is a well known company so it most likely have good benefits. In the end, after a month of not receiving any updates I instead receive a survey and gave them good scores and commented that I have not receive any response at all on my application then whoa I receive an update on my application saying that the are no longer seeking for this role because business changed their mind. The whole process from my application to the initial interview took 2 months.
