HR interview and then initial technical interview. The technical interview should be 1 hour but after 30min, the reviewer said she was out of questions :) then she ended the interview.

Interview
I had one round with a recruiter, and it was a highly disappointing experience. The recruiter lacked any technical understanding and seemed more focused on ticking boxes from a pre-set list of questions than engaging in a meaningful conversation. It felt like they were unprepared to evaluate candidates with advanced qualifications like a PhD. Zalando, please consider employing recruiters with appropriate technical expertise to ensure a fair and engaging interview process for specialized roles. Also requirements of the position seem very broad without any particular focus.
