Pros
I've been working at Adaptive for four years, approaching five, and it has been nothing short of a great journey so far.
The company fosters a truly great culture that extends far beyond the standard metrics or 'tick-boxes' you see in other corporate environments. Leadership genuinely cares, which is demonstrated by the many ways they consistently go above and beyond for their employees. Furthermore, there is a strong culture of transparency, which is incredibly important to me, making it easy to align with the company’s mission and believe in the bigger picture.
Throughout my time here, I have received significant support to further my career. While some of that is certainly earned through showing up, I believe the mentors at Adaptive truly look beyond a CV. They take the time to understand each person and help them pursue the roles and paths best suited for them. I am especially impressed that the Early Careers Programme, which was previously a graduate scheme, was renamed to actively encourage self-taught young professionals to apply. It’s these thoughtful considerations that prove this is a company that genuinely values good people.
Finally, Matt and Loic, the founders of Adaptive, always make time to speak with and get to know everyone. They lead a global company, yet they still prioritize traveling to all the offices throughout the year, attending events, or simply having coffee or lunch with team members. As the company continues to grow, it maintains the warmth of a smaller organization, which is a testament to their leadership.
