Pros

Sstarted a new role at Allnorth and am very impressed by the training and onboarding process. Everyone has been very helpful and has been great at making themselves available. 30-60-90 day plans are clear and management and trainers have included me in the process. And you can bring your dog to the office!

Cons

I haven't found them yet

Current newish employee, we appreciate your comments. Specific training and clear onboarding is paramount to a successful start and career anywhere - I'm glad we are providing this for you. Dogs in offices can certainly help keep everything in order - except my dog. He doesn't help with the paperwork... All the best! A you progress with us, please feel free to reach out, I would love to hear about your continued experience. - Kris Kotzer, COO, 604-612-9064

Pros

There are no "Pros" to working at Allnorth. It was a good/great company depending on location and manager until acquired by PE firm - Long Point Capital from NYC. They have terminated the C-Suite (CEO/COO/CFO), middle management and most long serving employees (either direct termination or constructive dismissal). Culture has cratered in an environment with daily terminations and where retention bonuses are used to retain key staff amongst all of the chaos. High performers are leaving on their own ... Shareholders cannot get a share price from LPC, cannot sell shares and are bound by a restrictive shareholder agreement. Its pretty sickening.

Cons

If you are thinking of working at Allnorth, be cautious. Do not relocate or leave an existing job to go to Allnorth. It is far too risky because LPC is trying to prepare the company for sale but ... do the depth and breadth and the cadence of the changes they have implemented across Finance, ERP and Project Delivery coupled with killing off Lines of Business (Calgary Operations) the business may not survive (certainly not with its current footprint). There is a complete lack of leadership with senior leaders (loosely) all located in the US and sincerely disengaged with the company's only real asset - its people. From the constant firings of high performing decades long employees, to the never ending Document Retention Order (employees are not permitted to delete any files), to secret retention bonuses and absence of comp adjustments for anyone they don't see as critical - the environment is toxic. Staff won't type anything unfavourable in Teams/Email or text on company phones because all of that is accessible by the company's retained forensic auditor Berkley Research Group. I feel bad for those employees that are stuck and can't leave. Its very stressful. Finally, if you do decide to take a job there, ask who will be training you and how long have they been there ... if you're really ballsy, ask where the person you are replacing went. Still think you might want to work here?
