Pros

The only good about this job is you only need to put in minimum hours, come in around 11 am and leave before 5 pm.

Cons

There is a wide spread of misconduct and incompetence in this company. 1. Managers and business collude in overcharging customers; 2. The company is completely careless about personal data of its customers and employees; 3. HR and internal recruiters lie about pay and benefits just to get people onboard; 4. Managers are only interested in self-preservation, disregarding the responsibilities to customers. "As you are paid a salary, you cannot have your principals", I was told.

Autodesk Singapore far cry from Great Place to work!

Pros

Good policies in place, global company with great future prospects!

Cons

The policies in place are only for certain Geos and departments. At the end of the day if you happen to be in backend functions in Asia, you can count on it that you have found yourself in the middle of the ocean with no one to support you. Manager's attitude is all the bad cliche's you can imagine. We look at other people in the company who are in mainstream functions going home at 5;30 , but for us its only half day. HR is oblivious to all this or they turn a blind eye is anybody's guess. Every single day we work overtime without being paid any benefits for it.

Pros

- Autodesk seems to be on track to be on par with the top players in the market with regards to Compensation.

Cons

- A culture of irony. Autodesk has a series of HR policies and programs to make you feel you belonged, but they may lay you off without a single warning, even when you are a high-performer. - Autodesk lays off people while earning a record-high profit during this pandemic. If you are looking for a compassionate company, look elsewhere cause this is not one of them. Some companies lose money during this difficult time and still treat their employees better. - Leaders not knowing what to do with the organization. Series of re-org after re-org. Autodesk likes to promote leaders that are technically capable but have mediocre/poor people management skills. We became guinea pigs for their substandard business decisions.
