Avenue Code reviews about "people"

They don't care about people as they praise to , they will let you go without even say thank you. I will never recommend this company that made a lot of people sick.

Right after they got merged to the bigger group it was a downfall, benefits were cut, raises were frozen, profit sharing gone. No perspective of growth anymore, people leaving all the time making the team work very feeble. It was really good while it lasted.

Hired a large amount of people then did mass layoffs a few months after.

After Compass bought the company, they killed Avenue Code's culture. Salaries have been frozen for years. They do not care about their people, which Avenue Code used to be amazing at. They have created some AI tools that are laughable, it's all based on hype and the hope to capitalize on everything AI. Now, it's just a place everyone is trying to get away from. Just look at the amount of people leaving. It's sad to see, so my recommendation is to only join this place if you truly have no other option.

Clients can be tricky. There has been an acquisition which may have affected some people within the company.
