Pros

Flexibility to work from home, occasional small Christmas bonus if you get a decent review or a .20 cent raise a year, and possibility of landing a great manager or supervisor.

Cons

You can be laid off or have your hours cut with no notice. The “leadership team” is degrading and mean. Constantly at each other’s throats for power. You can be written up for not sounding happy in an email. No benefits, no sick time, and no cost of living increase. If you get a pay increase, it will be cents. Upon a biased review, you may or may not receive a bonus. There will NOT be a bonus AND pay increase. All the excellent workers they had are fleeing. You’ll most likely be treated like you’re incapable of critical thinking. Only benefit is remote work, and that’s very common now. Redundant work, unwilling to teach new skills, and sabotaging.
